We mainly used mild steel for most parts of the product. As our whole car frame nearly needed to weld. So, mild steel was chosen to be the material of car frame. Regarding the front wheel absorber, aluminum and medium carbon steel were chosen. As aluminum was easy to manufacture and its strength was suitable. Bronze was chosen to manufacture the bush because of its slipping characteristic. Stainless steel was chosen to be the upper holder and the shaft in the front. Different size of screws and nuts were ordered for assembly.Rings were purchased directly in hardware store by us. The car body was made by sheet metal as the sheet metal was easy to make different shape and light. Four hundred dollar was used to make new tires, since the old one was too big for the tricycle.Some materials were not used in the manufacture state because of various reasons. For example, the design was changed so that the materials for those components became useless and also backup for various parts.
