I have learnt that we have to ask more before design and manufacturing process starts as we are lack of experience. Besides, it is better to predict which materials should be used, and also the amount of material carefully.

Overall, we satisfy what the technicians have done to us. Also, the work load for some teams are too heavy, their members have to spend much more time to finish and have no time working on summer intern. Reasonable work load should be assigned.

Also, many teams were told by mentors to change the designs. That might waste time and material. On the date of presentation, only a few team could present their project with their real product. It is unable to give the chances for other people to quote relevant questions. The date of presentation should be postponed or the work load of each time should be reduced.

I am CHAN Pui Ying, Flora. These few months training has provided me with a chance to know more about industrial manufacturing and gain experience in process of design, operation of machines, equipments used and allocation of job in order to achieve good efficiency in our work.

Apart from gaining experience in manufacturing processes, team coordination was vital. It was not possible for one to fabricate a product on its own, right? Everyone's contribution was thus essential. Communication with other groups was also crucial since the whole efficiency could be raised.

Finally, I would like to thank our mentors and technicians in IC for giving us help and advice when we faced difficulties. We could learn from their experiences and a valuable lesson was thus provided

This project has given us a chance to design and manufacture a product. We have faced a lot of problems and tried to solve them during the project. We have learnt a lot of things during this process. It can help us to train as an engineer and also improve our interpersonal skills. They are very useful in our future career.

The most important thing I have learnt in this project is that how to respect the other's opinion and present my own idea. During the project, we always need to make some decisions. Before making decisions, we need to present our own ideas and listen the others' ideas. I have found that the only way to make good decisions is give patient when listening the others' opinion. It is because it can encourage the others to present their opinions. I thing it is very important not only for my future career but communicate with the others.

I am CHUNG Chi Shing, Oscar. It is a meaningful experience to design and manufacture an electric tricycle. We had been through good times and bad times.

Throughout the training period, there came to chances that we had different opinions. No one is always correct. The lesson is not to make things personal. Try and figure out what does best to the goal and stick with our belief.

During the manufacturing processes, with no doubt there were always more than one approach to achieve the objective. Sometimes when the team was hesitating, you just had to make the decision and stand up for what you believed. This could specifically be applied to the situation that you held the responsibility for particular parts so you knew them the best.

Through constructing the website, I am reminded of the highs and lows we have been through. This project is a grateful experience indeed.

In this project, mainly 3 things were learnt - the drawing software Inventor 8, manufacture techniques and team work.
During the draw, many problems raised because lack of the software techniques. I also gain the experience of ordering the material after the design state.

I was mainly responsible for the components which would be welded. Despite of welding, I had done the surface finishing and also manufactured the two rings. To evenly distributing the workload is nearly impossible. So, in order to finish the project, each team member should have a spirit that getting all the things done, no matter by whom.

Finally, I would like to say thanks you to all staff in the Industrial centre. They are really nice and help us a lot in doing this project.

In this project, my computer drawing skill and the knowledge of operating machines improves. Thanks the teachers in the industrial centre for helping us a lot.

However, there are 2 things that make the project not perfect that are changing the topic and the motor is not workable. Changing the topic make the work that we done in the pervious semester can not use and all the computer drawing need to be done in hurry.

The project makes me feel the teamwork is very important. We have not enough time to finish the product, so team work is very important in order to finish the part which is assigned to teammate.
